Consumer Guarantees Act

Under New Zealand's Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, you have certain rights when purchasing goods and services. Our products come with guarantees that they are of acceptable quality, fit for their intended purpose, and match their description. If a product fails to meet these guarantees, you have rights to a remedy.

Returns and Refunds

At varnorexamlox, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with a product you have purchased, you may return it within 14 days of delivery for a refund or exchange, subject to the conditions outlined below. This is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act.

Your Rights Under Consumer Guarantees Act

If a product is faulty, not fit for purpose, or doesn't match its description, you have the right to:

  • Request a repair or replacement
  • Request a refund
  • Claim compensation for any loss or damage

These rights apply regardless of any warranty we may provide and cannot be excluded by contract.

Return Conditions

For returns outside of your Consumer Guarantees Act rights (e.g., change of mind), items must:

  • Be in their original condition and packaging
  • Not be damaged, used, or altered
  • Include all original accessories and documentation
  • Be returned within 14 days of delivery

Return Process

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact us at cooperation@varnorexamlox.world or +64 800 124 663 to request a return authorisation
  2. Provide your order number and reason for return
  3. We will provide you with return instructions and a return authorisation number
  4. Package the item securely and ship it to the address provided

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5-10 business days. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a fault covered by the Consumer Guarantees Act.

Exchanges

If you need to exchange an item for a different size or product, please contact us. We will guide you through the exchange process, which may require returning the original item and placing a new order.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately. Under the Consumer Guarantees Act, we will arrange for a repair, replacement, or full refund, including return shipping costs. We will not charge you for fixing problems covered by the Consumer Guarantees Act.

Custom Orders

Custom-made or personalised items may not be eligible for return unless they are defective, don't meet the agreed specifications, or fail to meet the guarantees under the Consumer Guarantees Act. Please contact us to discuss your specific situation.

Fair Trading Act

We comply with the Fair Trading Act 1986, which prohibits misleading and deceptive conduct, false representations, and unfair trading practices. All product descriptions and claims are accurate and truthful.
